Don't you think this is NOT a MacBook for users of the M1 platform? The target market is people with older notebooks. I believe that 1/1000 users could use better performance of M2 compared to M1, but this is not a computer built for them. I use M1 16 inches and Intel i5 13 inches. This particular model will perfectly replace the Intel-based one.
