It is tough to compare any Garmin with any Apple Watch.

I use Garmin 7S. Battery life with functionalities I need is three to four days (blood oxygenation, for example). If I turn on the GPS, the battery life is one day. One.

At the same time, I am using the Apple Watch 3 (I know it is old, but I like it, mainly because of its battery life of two days).

However, these two watches are not comparable. For example, Garmin can hardly even get into smartwatch territory. It is not smart. It just has some functions needed for tracking activities or health. Nothing "smart" in that." On the other hand, Apple Watch is like having an iPhone on my wrist. Super simple.

Now, let's compare their purposes and battery lifetime. Garmin with enabled GPS has hardly over 24 hours. Hardly. And it is designed for that. I don't care about "normal use" (by the way, what is the regular use of _activity_ watch?). At the same time, Apple Watch works for two days, precisely what it is designed for.

Who is scamming users in that case? Having such misleading info about the battery lifetime Garmin provides is like having a car that uses no gas/electricity/whatever because - it is always in the garage. Nice.

I like 7S. It is not ugly as larger models and has all that I need.

I like Apple Watch. It is beautifully crafted and helps me a lot.

But, Garmin, get real. Are you producing activity watches or jewelry? I notice a lot of people are wearing Garmin together with the suite. It isn't pleasant even to see that, but the Apple Watch can fit without any problems (still, I like my Omega or something like that more to wear with a shirt).

Looking back in the past, I would be very careful about Garmin's place. Very careful.
