Troubling Pockets on My Clothing
I am a boomer. I wear shirts, suits, and ties. I don’t have short-sleeved shirts. Not even one. You will never see me in a T-shirt.
I understand that clothing does not necessarily have to be functional. It can show your attitude and, in my case, an old-school point of view.
On coats, I got pockets, usually with phone and keys. On suits, I got pockets with a watch and a handkerchief.
But why have I got pockets on my pajamas (I always use striped pajamas with buttons)?
I am not going into bed with a gaslighter and cigar in my pockets. I don’t need car keys when sleeping.
What is the point of having pockets on pajamas?
Nobody knows.
