Recommending Jira for project management is, to be polite, a horrible idea as other 20+ tools mentioned here (talking from 20+ years project manager perspective ). Some of the mentioned tools even authors are not sure what they are for. Some of them evolved from simple task management tools to bad implementation of PM tools, and it is not wise to recommend them as a tool for anything.
